I certainly hope it's either a very small unit, or you also have a "medicare nurse" to do all that charting, and help with assessments.  If you have 20 or so Medicare patients, you'd only have time for the assessments, RAP's and care plans.  Good Luck!

Subject: Desperate- Job description.

How many of you do MDS for medicare AND manage the unit-example- interview patients for admission, meet with therapy routinely, do budgeting for the unit etc.
I am desperately trying to get a medicare manager job description together- If anyone could contribute theirs I would really appreciate it!
