At our facility we use a TTAP program (toilet, turning, and repositioning). Every 2
hour our facility-wide intercom comes on: "Attention nursing staff, TTAP window, (or
door, or ceiling)." What this does is let us know what position the resident should be
in (if in bed). It also reminds us to toilet our residents on the Toileting program.
We try very hard to do this, but you all know it's easier said than done. It must be
enforced for ti to work.
