Personally, I think whatever the reg, why would you allow a CNA to evaluate a resident on psychotropics??? Why did we all go to school???

We have a new director of dementia services whose certification is CNA but has no degree in social work, other related degree, and is not an RN or LPN. Is it legal for this staff to complete the psychotropic medication review notes as she is taking over the role of making rounds with the facility psychiatrist for the dementia services unit. Thanks.
