If the resident is not able to ambulate more than 5 min. at a time, but does
so 3 times a day, does the RA have to document each of these times
separately or can it just be documented as a total of 15 min.?
Also, does the task of doing range of motion have to be an isolated event
or can that be included with the AM bath/dressing care?
Can transfers several times a day be added to the MDS if it is careplanned
that the res will be monitored for improvement with the goal of eventually
becoming independent ?
