If a resident uses x amount of days and is discharged back to LTC and then goes back
into the hospital can she then use her remaining Med A days? In particular, if she
has had more than a 30 day period of wellness but not 60 days of wellness. I have
checked the "Medicare Benefit Policy Manual", Chapter 8, starting at 20.2 but cannot
find anything referencing another qualifying stay allowing her to use her remaining
benefits. Does the 30 day rule not apply here since she had another qualifying stay?
