Tanya,
When was the R2B of last assessment?  The R2b date is your critical date, rather than ARD.  If the R2b is less than 92 days then you are fine.
 
Honestly, I would not do the assessment, and would keep a record of the discharge date and why assessment was not done.

I have a resident that's ARD for her quarterly MDS was 3/16, she was discharged on 3/17, I can not make the ARD past 3/16 or it would be past the 92 days. Since she is discharged do we have to do the MDS for 3/16. I thought we would have to but the staff is really giving me a hard time with this one.  HELP
