It IS a certification. If interested, check their site. Once you take the course and pass the test, you are able to use the initials of CRNAC after your name (Certified Registered Nurse Assessment Coodinator).  Obviously, this is a certification for RN's only, although others may take the course.  You have to renew every three years.
