Resident admitted from another facility, sketchy information accompanying. Had been
on Paxil and ordered Paxil on admission here but had no depression diagnosis
documented from former facility. Our Psychiatrist wrote the depression diagnosis 2
days after the ARD, when he first saw her.
Do you think depression could be claimed on the admission MDS? There will definitely
be a care plan for depression.
