Yes, and resident is a non complaint diabetic. And does have discomfort and
swelling (fluid accumulation in chest area of wound)

You still have to monitor the drainage, the appearance of the surrounding
tissue, sometimes the seal breaks and the dressing has to be changed more
frequently.  The patient may be having pain??  It's not like you change the
dressing and don't look at it again until the next scheduled change.  Are
you monitoring for complications, infections, nutritional status...?
