hosp breaks 60 day wellness

hello all,
do i understand this right. any hosp admission, even for 24 hours,will break wellness period. all hosp admits are considered skilled care? now does that include psych?
302's?

consider this....
a person in community, never had SNF placement before
age 56
hospitalized (admitted for 48 hours) 45 days prior to SNF placement

has disability medicare A&B
has subsequent 5 day hosp stay
hosp seeking SNF placement due to need of skilled care
admitted to your facility
unable to use medicare benefit because 60 day wellness period was not satisfied

is this correct?   i would appreciate any responses.
