I make out an
MDS schedule about 3 months ahead of time & keep to it as much as I
can. I then give therapy a copy & they try to screen resident about
2-3 weeks ahead of ARD so that if they should be picked up, they go ahead &
get the order & then they are already on by the time of the ARD & we can
then use these minutes.

Subject: Medicare BOkay, I am really confused here! I coordinate for all NON-Medicare residents. I have asked Physical Therapy to evaluate a couple residents who are making progress since they were Medicare. She has picked up a few residents as Medicare Part B. What am I supposed to do to capture the rehab part B. This is what I have been doing. Please correct me! I have continued on with the same schedule and have missed picking up the therapy minutes because they aren't within my ARD. What should I do!Annette
