We have had one in every facility that I have worked @ & we never had to get physician orders to use it, even though most of our residents use it rather than the shower.

Subject: Whirlpool

We have the option for our Resident's to receive either a shower or a whirlpool tub. One of our RN's is stating that a whirlpool requires a doctor's order. What do you think?
