I would agree.  A whirlpool TREATMENT such as in wound care would require an MD order, however not the general tub whirlpools used for bathing.

We have the option for our Resident's to receive either a shower or a whirlpool tub. One of our RN's is stating that a whirlpool requires a doctor's order. What do you think?
