Oh I misread this I thought she went off Med A on 4/8 when she went to the
hospital so she is outside the 30 day window. Sorry!!!

Hi.  Your patient was off Medicare for greater than 30 days but had a 3-day
qualifying (check on this to make sure the time in the hospital was as an
inpatient) hospital stay within 60 days.  If she is now back with orders and
skilling services then she is eligible to use any remaining days she has
from the prior benefit period.  Here is the decision tree FYI --(see second
page, far right)
