Alot of facilities don't to skill a hospice resident. But as along as DON"T use the same dx or anything related to it you ie: aspiration pneumonia and they have a Dx of Dementia. I have skilled several hospice resident and haven't been denied pym't yet. If hospice is doing pain management then you can't skill them for that. The best thing is to have open communication with your hospice agency so they know why you are skilling them.   Jeff
