Michelle,
When you get your actual written summary of
deficiencies it will list which resident number the deficiency addresses.
There should also be a list that allows you to figure out the resident number
for the residents they are referring to. I hope that makes
sense. Anyway, that is how they do it here in Colorado.
Too bad they didn't give you a clearer idea at their exit who they were
referring to. Its always nice to get a jump on the plan of
correction.
And congratulations! It is always
unnerving to have a survey. You never know what they will focus on or look
for, but after you have survived a few you get a little better idea of what to
expect. You did great!

Subject: They are gone.
Hello Guys,
Well the state and the fed are gone. They exited
yesterday late afternoon. My nerves are shot. I feel like I could
sleep for a week. UGH!! ![]()
MDS took 1 tag--278D. Resident not ID'd correctly.
Ok guys help me out here, how does one not ID a resident correctly? They
have not told who this person was, so I have no clue if this happened prior to
my taking the position or what I may have did wrong. Any ideas floating
around out there? ![]()
I want to thank you all for your prayers and positive
thoughts. I feel that I have come a long way with this building
considering with the mock state MDS took over 15 tags. I walked into a
mess and I have waded through it, without any experience and very little
inside help, to bring this building up to where they are with the MDS.
Eveyone out there that has asked questions and received feedback have helped
me through the bumps also. I find it interesting that when I have a
question regarding an area and I go through my mail it happens to be the main
focus question that day or week. Are you guys mindreaders?
Again thank you for all your support and input. ![]()
We definately need an MDS month in an exotic place that the
corp. pays for. ![]()
Thanks again guys,
Michelle E
