Sorry,....Thanks for the clarification. I was confused because my last
facility didn't get the MPAF set up until the last minute for the acceptance
of the Quarterlys. That's when we started using it for PPS as well. (A lot
can happen in 2 years, and I'm not as young as I used to be)

I just spoke with Cindy DePorter, the RAI coordinator for North Carolina.
The MPAF is required in NC when submitting a quarterly, but is not required
for Medicare PPS assessments. That is still up to the facility to decide.
