I work in a 238 bed LTC with a skilled unit of 42 beds. I am responsible for the skilled unit which is 42 beds. Of the 42 beds, 16 are currently used by LTC. I have an additional 10 LTC residents from another unit. Other responsibilities include: weekly UR meeting, tracking of medicare days, care plans/family meetings, oversee the discharge planning process, arrange all family meetings, PPS billing, monthly quality indicator QA, MDS scheduling, quarterly fall risk and braden scale tracking and completion, completion of all MDS assessments-including data entry, transmission
