THERE IS NO REIMBURSEMENT FOR THIS IN A SNF (yes I know all caps is shouting but it seems to call for it). We are a hospital based SNF and frequently give blood and have been told by our FI that there is no way to bill. Your patients need to be shipped to the hospital as short stays or overnight admits and THEN they can bill for it.
