I had a MDS PPS schedule worksheet created in an
Excel Document.I have found this very helpful. You can just enter the name of
the resident, the date of entry, hit enter and it makes a schedule of the
scheduled MDS Assessments do and it also has the window dates for the OMRAs and
Replacement dates. I print it out and keep it in my scheduling book for quick
reference. Hope it helps, it's been a work in progress!
For my OBRA schedules I have always just counted 3
months forward from the last R2b and then 10 days back. From there I set the A3a
date on the assessment, schedule a Discipline Due date three or four days
afterwards and then I have about a week to complete the assessment. I helps me
in scheduling my day, because like most of us, I have a closet full of different
hats to wear!
