I need some help with some information. I
have been told that in the RAI manual it states that a licensed nurse is
required to fill out part of the MDS. The only part I see reference to it
being a licensed nurse is where an RN has to sign off complete. Can anyone
reference me any other pages where it states a licensed nurse is the only person
who can fill out certain areas on the MDS? We are all used to just
completing the MDS as license nurses but I am trying to find out is there a
regulation that states it has to be a licensed nurse.
