We have been issuing these letters to our managed care patients in Massachusetts since
the first of the year.The patient can ask for a reconsideration.The group that is
doing our QIs also is reviewing these claims.My understanding is that they will come
in within 24 hours of the request.We have not yet had a patient ask for a
reconsideration.
