Subject: Ischemic LE

Admitted a resident with ischemic LE, is completely blocked, refuses to have
amputation or any other surgery. Resident and family are aware of outcome. Extremity
is cold and toes are starting to blacken. Can I keep her covered under MC with wound
care for this? Has blisters on posterior calves also. No topical treatment, just being
covered, has a foot cradle and pressure relieving bed. Thanks in advance for your
assist. Dian
