We had a similar situation. Does your lady take her purse with her? If she does, put one in the bottom of her purse when she is not looking, if posible, in the lining. We had a lady who would try to leave in the same way, took all the wandertags off that we could put on her, but she would always take her purse with her. Our wanderguard sensors were high enough to keep her from getting out. In another area of the building the sensors are low to the ground, so you can walk right out with a wanderguard tag in your hand, so it didn't work on that unit.
(Maybe the social worker can tell her to "get some air, but don't forget to take your purse")
Hope this helps
Eileen.
