a new "major version" of CM is almost finished. The documentation on
the new api is here:

most of the documented entries are already working in svn Grace, the
main things not yet done are the define-process macro and the Spectral
Composition section. The former is a day's work the latter about a
week. i would welcome any comments about the api or about things you
think should be there (or not), especially wrt the new spectral
compostion stuff.
