Sharman, I was admitted into the BMS trial in June as a blast phase patient. My blasts in the marrow were 80% and in less than a month they were at 1%. I understand your concern as accelerated is not a good place to be, but this drug is virtually a miracle.
As of my last visit to MDACC, mid November, the phase two trial information wasn't yet available or at least not yet released. You may have trouble reaching any of the leading doctors involved with the BMS drug as the ASH convention is starting and I suspect the majority of the authorities in the treatment of CML will be actively participating. If you follow Jerry's diary (newcmldrug.com), I was the first trial member to complete a statement of treatment history. The purpose of this response is to say a wait, regardless of the concern, should be worthwhile.
