I gave blood, too -- I called the Red Cross after dx to see if they had records of any CBC testing they might have done to see if anything looked funny in the three donations I made in the six months vefore dx. Imagine my surprise when they told me they don't check for WBC count! They only check to make sure you're not anemic, and of course, HIV, etc. I found this very disconcerting to folks who might have been given my donation. Lori
