Dianne,

My husband takes 800 mg and has for a year and a half. He takes 400 mg after lunch and 400 mg after dinner. He has been very lucky to have minimal side effects. I wish you luck with the increased dosage and be sure to let us know how you are doing!

Christine,
Yes, I will give the 800 mg. a try.  I was hoping to hear from others who take 800 mg. I'm wondering how they take it and how they manage side effects.  I thought I'd try splitting the dose into 400 mg. am and 400 mg. pm.  Not sure if this will work but am willing to try.  If the side effects are too great, then I will push for a trial drug sooner than July.  I have not lost my hematologic remission which is a good thing.  PCR showed 69% PH+ which is a big jump from one year ago.  So, it's push harder for now;( We'll see how it goes.  One day at a time is as good as it gets!
Thanks for the support.
Dianne
