I can't think why CML in any reasonable level of remission (as yours is,
right?) should cause spiking fevers.  Once you've reached anything close to
CCR, there shouldn't be enough Phillies around to cause trouble - even if
they wanted to. And the fact is that, not being true cancer cells, they
don't. 

But maybe your doc knows something I don't; did he explain why he thought
there might be a connection between CML and spiking fevers?
