Hi Barb,
I had Trisomy 8 appear in Ph neg cells, 33% in December 2001. At that time...early days of IM, I was urged to proceed to an unrelated transplant as it was unclear what this meant. I elected to stay on IM and hope for it to disappear as it had for a few others. I had a draw in June of 2002 and it was gone. There is still no consensus on what the appearance and disappearance of abnormal Ph neg cells indicates while on IM. But in general, at this point, it is not considered a negative indication. I am being monitored with BMBs every 6 months to monitor the situation and I am still 100% Ph+ 3 years post Trisomy 8 and 6 .5 years post dx! Talk to your doc about a possible dose increase and keep the faith...your marrow is trying hard to sort itself out...IN YOUR FAVOUR!! Love and Light, Christine dx 11/98 --- In [email protected], "Barbara Meunier" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > Is there anyone that can help me with this?
