You're right that IE is the most vulnerable. A new browser called Firefox is now available that is supposed to be less vulnerable. Some people like it better than IE (or Netscape - unfortunately, most Web sites aren't optimized for Netscape, which means in Netscape they often don't display properly). Firefox can be downloaded from www.mozilla.com.
 
And thanks for reminding me that I need to run my spybot and ad aware programs tonight!

 Most viruses and spyware use Internet Explorer or Outlook Express as "doors" into your computer. If you switch browsers and mail programs, you get rid of some of the susceptibility of your computer. He doesn't use Internet Explorer or Outlook and he hasn't had a problem since. Just a thought.....
