This does, in fact, seem over cautious to me, at least for
someone in PCRU.
It's normal for the lymph nodes to swell from time to time
as they fight off
little infections in the skin; even shaving the armpits,
or getting a
scratch or small boil further down the arm will often cause
slight
enlargement of axillary (armpit) nodes. To me, it just means
the body is
doing what it's supposed to.
On the up side, it's sort
of fun to look at CT scans, which are incredibly
high resolution these
days; but you wonder why American medicine is so
expensive!
