______________ Hi Katie, Glad you found this site. In the phase 1 trial there were only something like ?? 50 or so patients, either at MDACC in Houston or at UCLA. In Jerry's Diary he has some patient stories from others. The phase 2 trials are not underway yet in many places, or are just starting up. Is your BIL presently on Gleevec, which is front-line (first choice) treatment for CML? and is he needing to go off Gleevec for some reason? If you go on Jerry's site, on CML Discussion and scan down to earlier pages, you will see some discussion about trial sites and the patient criteria for the BMS drug. It is helpful if you can share more about your BIL's situation....like where is he presently treated, how is he responding to Gleevec, etc. And keep asking any questions that you have. Nancy C.
