Meanwhile his hemo was down to 6.9 so they gave him 2 more units. The next day he had his inflamed and enormous gall bladder removed and they gave him 2 more units!! I was told by hemotologist and cardiologist in Lancaster that the loss of blood was from the ET. There was no > blood leaking out anywhere, it was being destroyed in his system by the high platelets. This has not been confirmed by Drs at UCLA yet, so we don't know this is actually the case.
