The meeting was in Franklin, and Carrabino, who had never met Janna or even
been to Franklin before, decided to stop by.
"I was just listening to the radio in my cruiser. I just figured it was
meant to be," Carrabino said as he waited to donate a sample of epithelial
cells from the inside of his cheek.
Carrabino joined hundreds of Franklin residents, town officials and
teachers at yesterday's bone marrow drive for Paster, a fifth-grade teacher at
Parmenter Elementary School.
