John, My son has recently been raised from 400 mg. to 600 mg. gleevec. He has had pain in his hips since the raise. We were with him this past weekend, helping him move, and after working so hard and moving furniture he was really having some pain for a day or so. He was better after the 3rd day but his hips have been his biggest problem with the increase. On the positive side, the pain isn't continual and he is having more time without pain than with it as time goes by. Hope your pain gets better.
