Hi everyone, I'm new to this group and just wanted to say hello. I was diagnosed last Tuesday with CML. I have only just begun treatment with hydroxyurea and allopurin to get my white cell count down so I can start Gleevec. I have been reading through some of the posts here so that I can learn as much as possible about what to expect. I live in the United Kingdom, I am 39, a full time student, and am in the chronic phase.
