Char,you need more information,hopefully,from your oncologist.  You need to get his thoughts on what is happening and what treatment response to make.  Or you need to get a second opinion from someone who is very knowlegeable aboutCML.  Many people do this as a matter of course.  CML is a fairly rare disease and many drs,even specialists, arent up on the latest treatment approaches.  Many in your position would go to a comprehensive cancer center such as MD Anderson in Texas or Dana Farber in Boston.  There are many choices depending on where you live.  You will feel better when you take some action to get more answers.  Best of luck,Cynthia Bates Schaefer New!
