I totally agree with you. I feel like I get no answers from my oncologist. Hes so much as admitted he has few CML patients and has said i am his youngest. I think I might try to look into Roswell in Buffalo, NY. I guess my biggest fear is that I am working up a tolerance to the gleevec before even hitting a remission. If that happens im afraid i will do the same in such a short period of time with the 800mg. Do you know if this "super gleeve" is just another form of the regular gleevec ?I am a 31 y/o mother of 3 with an older mans cancer , nothing surprises me anymore lol.Any info helps thank you very much for your response :) :) :)

Or you need to get a second opinion from someone who is very knowlegeable aboutCML. Many people do this as a matter of course. CML is a fairly rare disease and many drs,even specialists, arent up on the latest treatment approaches. Many in your position would go to a comprehensive cancer center such as MD Anderson in Texas or Dana Farber in Boston. There are many choices depending on where you live.
