Rob,thank you for bringing this issue to the
group. I have always been concerned with corporate money invading
non-profit organizations. I suppose that I am naive about how much
influence drug companies may have over,even cancer support groups, that take
what they offer. I used to work for a non-profit mental health
organization and drug companies and insurance companies had alot of influence in
the medical programs. Groups like the L&L Society do alot of good
education and other programming with drug co money so it seems to be a two-edged
sword. However,we don't know how policy is determined or what agreemnts
have to be made for the financial support. Others may disagree with my
opinions but please respond to CMLHope or Yahoo and not to my private
e-mail. Rob,also thanks for keeping this group out of the money pit.
