This is the first time I'm posting . I love reading
all the posting and have learned so much from all the rest of you and the CML
news wire.
My husband (Jerome 64) was dx in Oct. 2004
with CML. He is on 400 mg of gleevec and has reached CCR in six months. He is
doing very well we think with the normal side effects of gleevec.
On Sat. Message 9: Rob, I would like to know if
Myelofibrosis is the same as fibrosis scaring of the marrow. When Jerome had his
last BMA in May his results were CCR but the Dr. said he had Fibrosis Scaring of
the marrow.What can you tell us about that? Thank You.
Sun. 26 message # 9 Guam: Jerome served in
the Navy on Guam for two years 1959 and 1960 and stayed in Navy housing. Do
you have any study's on the men that served ?How many have cml or other cancers?
