I am so exited. I just got a call from Dana Farber and was told that my cytogenetics came back perfectly normal!!! This after being on the BMS phase 2 trial for 3 months. Its hard to believe that 3 months ago I was feeling terribly awful and was showing signs of starting to accelerate (after reaching PCR neg on gleevec). My basophils were in the high teens, platlets were 2.3 mil, WBC was starting to double in 2 days... 3 months later, I am feeling fabulous, have no side effects whatsoever, lost 25 lbs of gleevec water retention, have perfectly normal counts and now am in CCR!!! This BMS drug is truly an amazing drug!!! Love to all of you... /karen
