I guess we will have different opinions on this. My dr said a few glasses of 
red wine occas. is okay. It is that Gleevac is somewhat hard on your system and 
you dont want to do anything that makes it worse. I dont know about 
devastating. I have been on Gleevac one year, and have red wine, and so far no 
problems that I am aware of. Jackie
