i dont know if there is a normal dose, some are on 800 mg,some 600 mg, 400 mg. 300 mg. nancy started out on 400 and then dropped to 300 and finally can tolerate 200 mg best for her on a daily basis. everyone's body and tolerence level is different i guess, at least that is what we think and our doctor is not objecting. cheers.....robert and nancy
