How beautiful a written statement can be! Thank you so
much!
I have been up against so many road blocks with my CML...and I
know, everyday is a blessing.
I tried and tried to get on the BMS study...but it looks like
I would have to go to Houston or LA to be treated, and I simply can't afford
that. I have a life, kids, a man, horses. Without them I would feel like giving
up.
My last BMB told I have 14% blast cells, and 80,000 WBC. I am
tired and angry that the world of western medicine seems to be controlled by the
big business of the drug companies.
I tried to get into the BMS program in Denver but fell into
the cracks. So, I am continuing the Gleevec, and trying some Indian herbs.
Last night I had the chills SO bad, then I went into a fever.
I had a 102.6 fever, This happens to me often. I am so week, and the procrit
just seems to help a little.
But I push on..and like you say, each day is a blessing.
I think I will go ride my horse ride right now.
Thank you,
Sharman Denison
