Subject: Re: [CML] some good ideas for
some good people
How beautiful a written statement can be! Thank you so
much!
I have been up against so many road blocks with my
CML...and I know, everyday is a blessing.
I tried and tried to get on the BMS study...but it looks
like I would have to go to Houston or LA to be treated, and I simply can't
afford that. I have a life, kids, a man, horses. Without them I would feel
like giving up.
My last BMB told I have 14% blast cells, and 80,000 WBC. I
am tired and angry that the world of western medicine seems to be controlled
by the big business of the drug companies.
I tried to get into the BMS program in Denver but fell
into the cracks. So, I am continuing the Gleevec, and trying some Indian
herbs.
Last night I had the chills SO bad, then I went into a
fever. I had a 102.6 fever, This happens to me often. I am so week, and the
procrit just seems to help a little.
But I push on..and like you say, each day is a blessing.
I think I will go ride my horse ride right now.
Thank you,
Sharman Denison

Subject: [CML] some good ideas for
some good people
Thanks for the prayers we need all we can
get.
I pray daily that God gives us the strength to fight this disease
with all our hearts.
Put on your armour of faith and fight the
good battle of faith.
Live each day to the fullest.
Help someone
daily if you can.
Eat right and take care of your body.
Fresh air
and sunshine can be a good medicine in and of itself.
Take a walk even
if it's around you yard.
Count your many blessings daily.
Good
things happen to us daily; let's dwell on those good things and not the
negative.
A good movie, a wonderful song, a bird singing outside you
window.
Don't take them for granted anymore.
A walk on the beach
with a loved one; what more could you ask.
If you are in a stressful
situation due to family, learn to take sometime each day and meditate on
good things.
Remember, we can't always change a situation but we can
manage how we react to it.
Some good ideas for some good
people.
Blessings everyone,
Jeanie<3
