[CML] Pat/BMS Trials

I know that Sarah Cannon Research Instititute is conducting BMS trials - and there is one for intolerant Gleevec patients.  I'd definitely ask about that.  I know that any of the affiliates with Sarah Cannon can enroll patients (and they have many throughout several states).   Here are the brief descriptions of the different trials underway currently. 

-A Phase II Study of BMS-354825 in Subjects with Accelerated Phase Chronic Myeloid Leukemia Resistant to or Intolerant of Imatinib Mesylate
-A Phase II Study of BMS-354825 in Subjects with Myeloid Blast Phase Chronic Myeloid Leukemia Resistant to or Intolerant of Imatinib Mesylate CA180-006
-A Phase II Study of BMS354825 in Subjects with Lymphoid Blast Phase Chronic Myeloid Leukemia or Philadelphia Chromosome Positive Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia Resistant to or Intolerant of Imatinib Mesylate CA180-015
-A Phase II Study to Determine the Activity of BMS-354825 in Subjects with Chronic Phase Chronic Myeloid Leukemia Who Have Disease that is Resistant to High Dose Imatinib Mesylate or Who are Intolerant of Imatinib CA180-013.
Of course these are available at a lot of other centers throughout the country, too.
As to approval of drugs, Dr. Druker has said "within a year or so."  He is also very optimistic about them.
