Hi Renee,

The information that I found was from a website called, 
www.bloodbook.com  This is what it said about tea...

"Tea contains tannin that could inhibit the absorption of iron."

I think everything has a balance.  Simple, balanced nutrition with an 
occasional splurge is my philosophy.  

When I see what people put into their shopping carts at the grocery 
store, I'm stunned! -Junk, Junk, and more Junk.  Then, I say to 
myself, "How the heck did I get CML?"...I've never eaten the way some 
people do.

I still drink green tea on occasion. I'm not sure if the tannin level 
on green is the same as for black teas.. Something to look up I 
suppose.
