I just want to first say thank you to all of you for showing so much support for my wife and I. We really had no idea what to expect from one of these groups. So many of you are full of information, but more than that you are filled with ATTITUDE. Positve attitudes is what makes makes winners. Thank you again.
About Kelly, her doctor but her on prednsone (SP) for three days and her rash is about 95 percent cleared up. We really dont feel too good about using the steroids. She will be starting her Gleevec again on Tuesday or Wednesday. We cross our fingers in hopes that the rash doesnt come back. We are still waiting to meet with the BMT doctor. There are so many opinions about BMT's vs. staying with gleevec if your counts are ok. Kelly is only 35 and in good health physically and mentally. I know she could handle the side effects, but if we cant find a perfect match we are not so sure about a BMT. Anyway, thank you all so much for your help.
