FYI: Regarding Disability, I was OK'd in 2002 after my 2nd total hip replacement; but I was turned down 2 x's prior. I had a friend who was turned down 4 x's. She and I concluded that 'you have to have an Attorney', or expect denial after denial. Therefore, to save time, you might get one of the Attorney's who specializes in Disability, as he will accept payment from your lump sum after you are OK'd rather than having to pay out of pocket. We also concurred that you have to be over 50 or automatic denial at earlier age; unless you are 100% diabled. After all, paralyzed, legally blind, and mentally disabled people are working until retirement age.
